DECO

Good mood music. Unwavered by the movements around them, Deco have become one of the UK’s most intriguing viral pop acts in the last 2 years. With a persistent knack for classic songwriting, Deco blend the contemporary with their love of the 80s synth pop records thrust upon them by their parents growing up.

Honing their craft and building their following with early releases such as Chances, Deco quickly became a hit at summer festivals, selling out their 2019 UK tour and supporting the likes of Jess Glynne - validated by a ‘Best Live Act’ Nomination at the AIM Awards 2020. Like many artists, their ascent was threatened by the arrival of the pandemic, but this challenge and the need to adapt only accelerated their path to bigger things. ‘Winning the internet’ throughout lockdowns and beyond with millions of views for their viral 80s mashups, Deco truly embodied the sense of escapism they carry throughout their songwriting. They soon appeared on National TV & radio, played BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, supported the likes of Nile Rodgers, A-ha & Boy George on tour, garnered endorsements from their musical heroes (from Noel Gallagher to Coldplay) and won the hearts of millions on social media. Deco had their most successful year yet in 2022 with their biggest sold out UK tour and the successful release of their popular saxophone anthem ‘Rain’, as heard on ‘Love Island’. Making countless festival stages their own this summer, Deco’s live show has become a country wide favourite - all while continuing to go viral across the world. Signing to Modern Sky to kick off 2023, the 5 piece aim for new heights with the arrival of brand new music.
